Visit the historic city of York for shopping, culture and sightseeing

On the second Wednesday of every month, we have a regular coach trip to York scheduled. This is one of the most popular coach trips for our guests.

Our coach trip to York aims to arrive in York at approximately 11.35 am. The coach will park at St Georges Field on the outskirts of the walled City, providing just a short stroll to all of the attractions and amenities.
The coach then departs from York at around 5 pm, giving you a full day of exploring this beautiful destination. Whether you're looking to enjoy history, do some shopping or explore the interactive museums, there is something for the whole family.
Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter in York is the number # tourist attraction. You can take a tour of the impressive 13th century Minster, climb 230 feet to the Central Tower or just bask in it's exterior beauty.
No trip to York is complete with a stroll around the Medieval City Walls. The stretch of wall between Bootham Bar and Monk Bar offers excellent views of York Minster. You can walk as short or as far as you wish, or complete the full three miles.
Located between Fishergate and Skeldergate Bridge, Clifford's Tower is the oldest remaining part of York Castle. The Tower is popular with visitors for its stunning panoramic views over the city.
York Castle Museum offers a marvellous insight into the English way of life throughout the centuries. Explore Victorian streets, prison cells, shops and more in this adventure back through time.
The Shambles is York's most visited street, the narrow 14th-century cobbled street is famous for its small independent shops, overhanging timber-framed buildings and quaint tea rooms. The street itself is picture perfect and certainly not one to miss.
Coppergate in York is home to the life of the Vikings. Explore this interactive museum, complete with dress-up opportunities and a ride through 9th-century York. A perfect attraction for the whole family.
