The recent Government Announcement (27/11/21):-
- New temporary and precautionary measures following the emergence of the Omicron variant in the UK: - Face coverings will become compulsory on public transport and in shops. Not including hospitality.
- All international arrivals entering England must take a day 2 PCR test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
- All contacts of suspected Omicron cases must self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of their vaccination status. They will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace.

Next week there will be a change to the No. 7 Bus Service, week commencing 01 November 2021. The Skegness - Alford route on School Days will depart at 16:15 from the Ninja Mitton Gaming Cafe to support local schools and the student finish times.
It is also with regret that on the 06 December 2021 our Louth and Boston Bus Services will be cancelled due to low passenger numbers. Please visit Lincs Bus Info website for alternatives such as CallConnect.

Our Travel Shop on West Street, Alford has extended its opening hours. We are currently open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm to take your bookings in person or over the phone. We remain closed on weekends.

Update COVID-19 Bus and train operators across Lincolnshire are operating reduced services on some lines.
Currently we are not operating our Boston No.12, Louth No.8 or Grimsby No.44 public bus services.
Our Spilsby/Mablethorpe No.96 is operating. Only School Pupils can use the 96X.
Our Skegness No. 7 is operating, however the 07.50 route from Skegness to Alford and the 15:45 from Alford to Skegness is for School Pupils only. Should you require to use the No. 7 public bus service at these times prior booking will be required. Please contact the team to book by 4pm the day prior to travel for the 07:50 and by noon same day for the 15:45.

COX Denis Arthur (Beloved Hunts Coaches Driver) Passed away peacefully on 25 February 2021 aged 70. Denis originally from Sheffield, South Yorkshire worked as a coach tour driver for Shearings and Wallace Arnolds before joining the Hunts Coaches family. Denis married Joan in 2006 in Paignton.
They moved to Spain and Denis still had his hands firmly on the wheel as a delivery driver. When they returned to the UK Denis started to work for Hunts in April 2008 until he retired in August 2019. Denis was a loving, caring, gentle giant with a great sense of humour.
On our tour passengers said ‘Denis was 1st class’ and ‘Had many holidays with Denis, always a pro’. As a mark of respect due to the current funeral attendance limits the Hunts team will stand outside the depot on Station Road, Alford as the funeral possession passes just before noon on the 23 March 2021.
To the many friends and family, we wish that the loving memories of Denis comfort you. Joan has asked that instead of flowers donations be made to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.
Following the government's announcement yesterday the ‘roadmap out of lockdown’ all day trips and holidays up to and including Sunday 16 May 2021 have been postponed.
