No. 7 Student Bus Service – John Spendluff School has informed us of a suspected case of COVID-19 relating to a student. As a precaution we are working with the school and confirmed that we will not carry John Spendluff students on the No.7 school bus at this time. These students travel in ‘school bubbles’. We will continue to talk with the school about this too.
Our public bus services and other school transport arrangements are still operating. As a business we are committed to staying Covid-19 Secure and have signed to confirm Hunts Coaches comply with the governments guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19.
Some of the measures we take for those travelling on our vehicles include but are not limited to:-
Cleaning – We have implemented new and enhanced cleaning regimes as necessary throughout the day, which includes disinfectant of key touch points and high contact areas. X Mist sanitiser and deodorisers are also used.
Safe Distancing – We ask passengers to comply with the government guidelines.
Face Coverings – It is mandatory for passengers to wear face coverings, unless exempt.

Drivers – Our Drivers have been supplied with Personal Protective Equipment and where possible they will disembark when passengers are entering and exiting the vehicle to minimise any unnecessary interactions.
Hand Sanitiser – Hand Sanitiser dispensers have been installed and available to use by both drivers and passengers. We ask that passengers clean their hands upon boarding and alighting the vehicle.
We ask that passengers do not consume food or drinks while travelling.
Also, many of our vehicles have purifying air filters applied.
